Paso Fino horse for horseback riding in Puerto Rico on the Estancias del Guayacan Farm in Coamo

Horses have always been part of Puerto Rico. At one time horses were Puerto Rico's biggest export. Visit the home ( now museum) of the owners of the first Paso Fino horse in Guayama. Called Casa Cautino, on the main plaza. Very interesting house/museum, Guayama is a lovely town.

The south coast of Puerto Rico is where the large horse farms are, especially near Coamo.
